I had a Yorkie for 10 years. He was loving and very affectionate. He did not bark all the time and was low energy. This breed is very loyal. They do have allergy issues with the skin and stomach. I found a dog food that fixed that. They love to eat anything! Always hungry. I would recommend this breed for a not so busy home. Not a lot of commotion all the time.

we do have at Yorkshire Terrier a female we love her so much she is the best dog. She eats well has always been healthy. she is very friendly with children but it's just my husband and I. She loves to go out in the car with you and she loves the dog park. I would like to get another but I haven't been able I find a good breeder. I hope with your puppies we will be lucky and find one. The best small dog to own....great if you are in an apartment or small home... great energy, playful, smart, love all people... playing is a big part of their personality. Chasing small tennis balls, you chasing them, dragging a furry thing on your shoe is fun for them. I cannot say enough good things about them. Only negative, they are a little difficult to potty train.. Their independence is a double edged sword. They are not clingy for a small dog but can be strong minded when it comes to training them.

I have had four Yorkie and they are the funniest, loving pups around. They are loving and great lap dogs. They will be very easy to train. All four lived to the age of 14 and 15 years old. I nowhave two more Yorkie, my Bailey is 4 years old and I just rescued another one, she is around 7-9 years old and blind, but My Little Nellie was two day from being put down because no one wanted a old blind dog, they found her at a puppy mill, and she was used to make babies. Poor Nellie was so under weight, her nails were so long and hair was matted and filled with fles. I brought her home and she is the happiest puppy around and being blind doesn’t stop her from doing anything. She has never been out of a crate, but now she runs around and goes anywhere she want to go in the house and in the back yard. She has been the greatest Yorkie around.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my Yorkie. She 8 years old. After having for year she collapsed and I rushed her hospital and after several days she was finally diagnosed with Addison. They said the reason it took so long to diagnose was that no puppy that young has had Addison's. Most diagnoses is after 5 years old. Evan thou she has been a GREAT expense I love her to death. She is so well behaved, only barks when someone is on property. Most loving, has to sleep with me under the sheets every night and kisses to death everyone The only negative thing is she thinks she is a GREAT DANE even thou she's 7 lbs. Enjoy every moment with a bundle of joy. Buy form a reputable dealer.

Wonderful, exciting,intelligent, and a great dog to have for a companion. If you are a dog lover and a responsible owner of a Yorkie, you will never leave him or her alone. The Yorkie is One of the best dogs that I have ever owned. He is a lot of fun to play with and a very affectionate species with plenty of kisses(licking on your face and hands). As a watch dog, he can hear a car coming to the house at least a block away. His bag of tricks never stop until bed time.. He loves to be fed with a spoon.

Recently my oldest Yorkie passed. He was 15.5 years old. I also have a 4 year old Yorkie. This is a smart, slick and tough breed. Stubborn like a Bulldog. Great watch dogs. Very lovable when lots of contact is given early on as a pup. They are a bit tough to train and you have to be consistent. Treats are their middle name. Overall, a Wonderful little dog.

I had a tea cup Yorker foe 14 years. His name was snickers. Sadly snickers passes away and. I am heartsick. I am disabled and he was my main person. Snickers got me through cancer,and was great distraction from the constant pain I am in from a back injury. Snickers would lay. On my lap and listen to me and dog talk to me . He never treated me like a burden. He was a gift from God and I feel lost with out him. Snickers was four pounds of pure. Unconditional love.

My girl was only 30 months when she passed from a hornet sting.Most loving girl I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You always give 100%to love and protect them. She owned me. I wish that every one could have this beautiful experince of being owned by a yorkie.

I've been looking for a pup this breed so about a year. I really want one to be part of my family the only issue I have is I'm a single mom so money to actually buy one isn't easy I understand they aren't cheap and I believe I can take care of him day to day . It's coming up with a large sum of money to get one home.

We have a tea cup yorkie, and we love her to death, she's more like my child instead of our pet. We have a 14 tr old miniature Poodle, Missy, was 12 & half, had gave up on life, until we got our little tea cup yorkie. They're one of the best breed they are for children.

Yes I have owned 3 male yorkie akc paper, they are so much fun, my boys have alway been easy to train, not good with young children. The Yorkie are protective. I have wanted a little girls, and Mr. Bailey Bo Diddly needs a play mate. We have. Alway had big retriever with our Yorkie and the little was always the boss.

We have two yorkies and they are very smart dogs. We love to watch them play, they will entertain you for hours. Then they will want to be held and cuddled while they sleep. I\'ve had a very hard housebreaking them, BUT I have gotten passed at the small messes they make. LOVE THIS BREED.
