Picked up our new German Shepherd Puppy on 10/20/2018. Dealt with Jonas Stoltzfus from Bird-In-Hand Pa.
After a few phone calls we took the 2 1/2 for ride to pick her up. Upon arrival, myself and my kids were taken to the barn where the puppy was being kept. She was the last puppy so she was alone in a very large area with food and water. The puppy’s mother was on location and we met her and saw her interact with Dakota.
We were not rushed at all and were encouraged to stay as long as we wanted to be able to get familiar with her and play with her.
Jonas was very nice and told me after I take her to our local vet to let him know if there were any issues.
She had her first Vet visit on Friday 10/26/18 . The Dr. told me she was in great health and has very good temperament. She also received her second set of shots.
Overall very good experience.
I have read some questionable reviews here and felt I should share that my experience was very good.

After months frustration trying to rescue a border collie unsuccessfully, I called Ruth Martin because her litter really stood out to me on the site. I have researched the breed for quite some time, wanted a male, and was very particular about the personality of the dog, seeing it would be living with both children and an 8 year old german shepherd. My family had dealt with an alpha leader type dog for years, and although we loved him, he had the tendency to be aggressive at times, and I did not want another alpha, dominant personality type. Ruth was very patient, accommodating, always got back to me, answered all of my questions, was very honest about the dogs, and even suggested a couple dogs that were more laid back, sweet, and fit the personality type and disposition we were looking for. We put down a deposit on Lane (now Ollie), and arranged a day at the end of August to make the 5 hour drive from Western NY to Lititz, PA. The farm was beautiful, clean, and the whole family were very nice people. They had the mother and father dog out for us to meet, and I was very happy with the parents’ dispositions. We are very pleased with Ollie and love him so much! He has had very good reports health wise from our vet, loves everyone he meets, and is amazing with the kids and the other dog in the home! I would definitely recommend Ruth Martin if you are looking to add a border collie to your home. Thank you Ruth for Ollie, our awesome boy, and being so upfront, honest and accommodating every step of the way.

I drove from North Carolina to Stephen Zook’s farm in Pequa, Pennsylvania to see his beautiful mini Goldendoodle puppies because I could not find any local breeders with available puppies. Worth the trip! I had called two days before and made arrangements to meet “Timber and Tag” the two male puppies. Once I saw them in person, met Melody, the mama Golden and agonized over who to get, I chose Tag. and renamed him Nelson. The next day I went back and bought Timber for a friend who saw my pictures of my amazing puppy. The puppies were well cared for and well socialized. They were 16 weeks old and weighed around 18lbs. In my opinion, better than younger puppies because I was able to see their personalities and get a better idea of how they would be full grown. The mother and the puppies were allowed to run free around the farm and seemed very happy and playful. I have taken him to my vet for wellness check and shots. All good. I am an experienced doodle owner so I knew what I wanted and some things to check before making this very important decision. I think I chose wisely! Nelson was housebroken from day one! He sleeps all night and is very social. I tell people that puppies change and grow quickly. Their posted pictures do not do them justice! They are even more adorable in person so make the trip! Last I checked, the two female puppies from this litter are still available. Tulsa and Tulip are still available. Beautiful!

I bought Tim from Greenfield puppies! I absolutely LOVE him. He’s such a good puppy! I have never owned a Dachshund dog before. He is smart, lovey, funny, full of energy when he wakes up, and adorable! I am very happy I found Tim on here! His name is Bentley now. I have dealt with Michael Brown. I got an English Mastiff pup from him a year ago. I am an experienced Mastiff owner and I know what to look for in a breeder. Michael has exceeded my expectations. His puppies are home raised, in an immaculately clean house with plenty of human contact and love. My pup is extremely healthy and has been from day one. I would NOT hesitate to get another of Michael’s pups.

We drove to Manheim PA to pick up Myla from Dave and Annie Beiler at their dairy farm.
Dave and Annie were friendly , professional, and easy to work with. Dave provided us with all the health documentation and some sample food to transition our pup’s feed with.
It was a pleasure to meet them and their family, who were all playing with the puppy in their house.
Don’t take it as a guarantee, but Myla seems to be housebroken already, smart and well behaved. We are very taken with her already!

We purchased our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Hunter from Elmer Esh in Gordonville Pa the end of September. We drove from New Hampshire to pick him up. We arrived at an immaculate farm and was meet by a women named Martha who got the puppy from a barn. We never heard other dogs barking, but did get to meet the puppies mother. Not sure if they were puppy mill puppies or not, but I do know that Hunter is the smartest dog I have ever owned and everyone who meets him falls in love!
So far he has been healthy and the only issue we have had is I found one flea on him the day we got home :P.
I would definitely purchase another puppy from this breeder.

I am appreciative and thankful to work with such a good breeder. Mr. Gideon was kind and accommodating throughout the process. He was also very knowledgeable of animals. I like the fact that the breeders have socialized the dogs with children. We have had him two days so far and he has behaved well thus far and has caught on to crate training and walking on and off leash. He is a little timid being in a new place but over all he seems smart, healthy, and he arrived clean lol…. was expecting him to need a bath. The POC for shipping was also knowledgeable about dogs and he kept in communication with us on his status. I have nothing but a positive experience with everyone involved and if everything works out well with this pup I’m sure we will do business in the future with this breeder or breeders in that area. Not a good photo but it was rainy and dark the last few days.

My wife and I picked up Penny Pickles from John Yoder in Flat Rock, IL on 9.15.18.

John and his wife Virginia were extremely friendly and let us into their home. They gave us a tour of Penny’s living situation — very clean and organized. We met her mom and the rest of the litter, all so cute. We fell in love with Penny Pickles (Reese Cup) as they had named her and we were on our way back to Chicago after 20 minutes. The Yoder’s prepped us with all the proper tools/paperwork to fully take care of Penny for the first few weeks.

Within hours we fell in love with this adorable Minibernedoodle. She is loyal, kind, and so sweet. Penny was potty trained within 3 weeks and is the love our life. She is now about 10.5 lbs at 16 weeks and we expect her to gain roughly 10-15 more lbs to be fully grown. I fully endorse the Yoder’s and their Bernedoodle breeds 🙂

I have owned many dog breeds in the past and I have to say that the Portuguese Water Dog is one of the smartest and sweetest dogs I have ever owned. I highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a quality breeder. The farm was beautiful and we spent time with the family who made us feel at home. I bought “Rosie” now Mako on Saturday October 13th from Christ Stoltzfus in Bird In Hand, PA. It was a wonderful experience! Mako is a happy and healthy Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix. She had all her necessary vaccines before I even got her and was vet checked. Christ gave me all of her records and I had her to my vet in 48 hours and my vet said she’s perfectly healthy other than an umbilical hernia (Christ told me about it when I was only inquiring about her) which is minor that will be fixed when she’s spayed. Christ and his wife cared a lot and even asked me questions about where she would be staying and how she would be cared for. They even made sure I was going to spay her so that the hernia trait isn’t passed on. Mama was on site and was perfectly healthy as well! Mako has an amazing personality and is well socialized and very playful. I could NOT be any happier with this experience. Thank you Christ and Anne Stoltzfus for helping me gain my new best friend!

We got Bentley (formerly Harold) from Daniel King on October 2nd. He has been an absolute joy thus far. He has been taken to the vet and he’s in outstanding health. He is incredibly loving and intelligent and everyone falls in love with him immediately after seeing him. We could tell that he was well taken care of prior to getting him and we were sad to separate him from his brother, sister and mom. He does at least have a playmate who is my gf’s Morkie. Even though he is much older, he does his best to keep up with the pup. If someone does end up adopting either his brother and sister, Harvey or Heather, I’m open to them seeing each other again. We purchased our puppy from Henry Beiler in Gordonville, PA. We found the puppy online and called ahead to talk to the breeder. He gave me a lot of info on the dog and sent me pics of the mother and father so I could see her parents. I told Henry we were coming to meet “Sparkles” the next day and hopefully take her home with us. When we got there, we met all the puppies from the litter. The dogs were all adorable and seemed very well taken care of. Henry’s kids were all there and you could tell they knew the puppies and played with them often, which was nice to see. Henry was very open and honest about the dogs health and told us she had a slight heart murmur at her 8 week check up that needed to be rechecked when she was 12 weeks old. He agreed to pay for the cardiologist appt to have her checked. In the end, the dog is totally fine and Henry followed through on his promise. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this breeder!

We purchased a White German Shepherd from this site and have truly enjoyed this great dog. We had him shipped from Ohio to Phoenix Arizona. The shipping company was easy to work with. We have had the dog now for a year and he has a great temperament. Everyone who sees him says he is really a beautiful animal. This web site made it very easy to pay and have the dog shipped within 3 days.
