I've own several breeds and prefer Lhasa Shihtzu mix the best. Protective, but quiet, not yippy. Well behaved. Very loving And pretty healthy besides bouts of asthma.

I had one of these dogs for about 14 years. Smartest and best behaved dog I have ever encountered. House trained before two months old. Never met a stranger and everyone who ever met him loved him dearly. If I ever have another dog, will most assuredly be this breed!

My Lucy is such a sweet girl. Very loving and protective of me. A cuddly lap dog. However she loves to be outside! She is a digger and Hunter which I find surprising. She's awesome with kids and loves other dogs. Housebrealing was pretty easy. As for grooming...daily brushing is a must. Her hair will matt otherwise; especially is she is playing outside. She loves to dig tunnels in the mulch pile.
