We had one her name was Soxie she was an awesome dog. Smart as a whip , the best mouser we ever had. I think she was better then a cat. We used to play hide and seek. Soxie always won I miss her Soxie was just over 13 when she crossed the rainbow Bridge.

We had a shiba inu mixed with a lab for 10 years and she was perfect for our family. Grew to about 45 lbs, very chill state of being, ABSOLUTELY amazing with children (I once witnessed my 2 year old newphew stick his thumb in her eye and she just stood there and did nothing but walk away slowly bc she was very aware of being gentle with children). We had her dog bowl always full,.. she only ate until she wasn’t hungry anymore. And she loved to go swimming in the bay and jump and play in the ocean waves. She loved walks, and chasing small animals, and although the shiba inu in her made her a bit challenging to train in the beginning. When she was 3 she started listening to everything we said. Everyone who met her loved her. This was my favorite dog ever. This Breed is amazing. Also she didn’t bark very much unless she was around other dogs that barked as people walked by the yard/fence. She was everything we wanted in a dog. The only negative was her hips stopped working at around age 9. It was sad. Not sure if this is a typical disease for shiba Inu’s or not. But do not pass over the shiba inu lab mix. What a beautiful soul this dog was. And the CUTEST puppy too!

I have a mix shiba Inu with golden retriever. Very mellow but playful temperament. Loyal and loving. Quiet, not a barker. Active … loves to run! Double coat, needs brushing. Very affectionate and needs attention. GREAT companion!

Shiba -ranian Shiba Inu Pomeranian mixMy son bought a shibaranian from Greenfield 4 years back and it was the best decision he ever made. It is incredibly cute, people say it resembles a fox but has white socks. Unfortunately the breeder doesn't breed this mix because one of the parents retired. He does pomskies but I have yet to find an amazing dod as my son's. He is stunningly beautiful and one of the most intelligent, affectionate, loving dog ever. Wish I had taken a sibling. I hope I can find the same breed which is so rare.
