We have had three corgis - the first from a breeder the next two rescues. Absolutely everything you could want in a dog (as long as most of your clothes are tweed so as not to show dog hair). Clean, easy to teach commands, affectionate (female had great snuggle) and protective. Good size (easy to carry if steps are too high) and adaptable to many outdoor activities.

We are first time Corgi owners, and it's everything we thought & more. Our last dogs that we raised together were a Boxer & German Shepherd and we were looking for a smaller dog but with the same big personality, and the Corgi did not disappoint. We have a male, and my inlaws have his sister, and the male is very calm & affectionate, whereas his sister is constant energy and more independent. Our corgi is obsessed with our 12 y.o. son and loves when his friends come over (he thinks they come just to see him and we don't tell him differently). The only flaw we see is his herding mentality comes in with our cats who have zero interest in being herded. We have had to work with a trainer so he knows the cats are not his concern, and he learned incredibly quickly, even the trainer was amazed what a good student he was (especially since they get a bad rap for being stubborn). We are so in love with our Corgi and so happy with his personality, size, and demeanor.

I’ve had my corgi for 12 years and he is so amazing. Please buy a Roomba if you buy a corgi -really helps! He’s my best friend they are very trainable but you must be stern. They are smart dogs and they will try to be in charge if you let them.

I've had 2 and they are amazing dogs. I had a female Pembroke with the sable coloring who was the sweetest dog ever and a male tri color who was the funniest dog I've ever met. He would see you laughing at his goofy antics and just pour it on to keep you amused.It's a shame these breeders charge such outlandish prices and as long as they do they're the reasons horrible puppy mills exist and thrive.

We have 3 corgis... 14 year old female red and white 10 year old male red and white. 4 year old female tricolorlove these dogs. intelligent, loyal, not a big barker. they get to run everyday in fields or parks without leases (most times anyway.) Our 14 year old is alert for her age but the vet suggest we need to put her down soon because of large tumors. Its going to be a tough decision.

I've had 3 Welsh Corgis at the same time, Tiara ,Skyler, and Julienne two females and 1 male. They were my children for 13 years, but sadly they all passed away, as I have all of their ashes with me. My life was full when I had them and I still feel the pain of losing them like it was today! I so want another Corgi....they are the BEST BREED anyone could ever ask for. Their smart, funny, and quite the personalities,as if they were HUGE lol!!!

Our Corgi is WONDERFUL. He has a great temperament, learns quickly and is a loving dog. Very friendly and great with kids. The biggest problem with the breed is their shedding but the love they give makes those fur bunnies easy to deal with.

I love my Pembroke so much! Corgis are definetely amazing, loyal, dogs. Very glad I got my corgi, especially from here. The breeder's house was clean, organized. Showed us the "puppy room", which was a happy little guest room, decorated with stickers. The mom corgi was taking a nap, and her puppies were playing. Wonderful!

This is an AMAZING breed!! :) It\'s a royal fav that is loyal to their family and fits in everywhere and are soooooo beautiful!! I\'ve had two so far. One I have had since I was 9 and now I am 21 and he has been my companion for many years. They are wonderful with children as well as welcoming other dogs/animals into their families. He quickly accepted my other dog and helped trained her. Corgis are the perfect breed for families and for first time owners. Easy to train but watch out for the shedding!! :)

I don\'t own a Pembroke welsh corgi. She owns me. She is my baby, my hobby, my everything. She is very loyal and playful yet cuddly. She gets along with all animals, but is shy at first. She LOVES cats. A little too much. I love her small size and big personality. We go hiking, fishing, boating, and just about anywhere else. I can\'t imagine life without her, and I can\'t remember life before her!

I got my puppy buster from an Amish family in PA. Buster is the most adorable puppy! He is so friendly! He is like a big dog in a small body, and he thinks he is human! He looks like a teddy bear when he was younger, now he looks like a mini German Shepperd...love Buster!!!!
