I have lived with and raised all kinds of giant breeds of dog from Great Danes and Labrador Retrievers to Old English Mastiffs and Mastadors and my favorite dog (right now) is the Mastador. Giant in size yet very bright due to the Lab influence. They make great service dogs and companion dogs. Large enough to protect the family yet docile enough to be trusted around small children. The Mastador is truly an awesome breed. If you want to know about the temperament look no further than the movie "Old Yeller" most people don't know but he was the most famous Mastador.

THIS IS A GREAT BREED! Best of both worlds. I have a mastador she is very loving and affectionate. Great with my kids and kids my wife babysits. Best dog I ever had !!! Also a great watch dog. As for special food all dogs should have high quality grain free food. Although grain free isn’t a must for this breed it’s a good choice I use 4 health at tractor supply $34 for a 35 pound bag and it’s a 4.5 star dog food as good as blue and other high quality brands As for hip and joint problems That all depends on the parents and grandparents to the puppy you get I’ve spoke to this breeder as I may buy a puppy from him the parents and grandparents have not hip or knee problems or any problems at all. He feeds blue buffalo grain free That’s a very high quality food he’s very knowledgeable on the breed and owns both parents. Also a plus this is the first litter his female has had. She is 3.5 years old this tells me he’s not the type of breeder to breed back to back. Also the high quality dog food he feeds says a lot about him.

The breed is prone to hip and joint problems but is a great personality. They do shed some and require specialized food which can be expensive. I don’t know about the breeder is everyone else seems to, I just am not big on the breed.

I have dealt with Michael Brown. I got an English Mastiff pup from him a year ago. I am an experienced Mastiff owner and I know what to look for in a breeder. Michael has exceeded my expectations. His puppies are home raised, in an immaculately clean house with plenty of human contact and love. My pup is extremely healthy and has been from day one. I would NOT hesitate to get another of Michael's pups.

I've dealt with this breeder in the past and he has been very knowledgeable and caring when it comes to his puppies he sells. I still keep in touch with him and give him updates of my puppies progress. I would strongly recommend Mike. He is not like the typical breeders I've encountered in my search for a family pet.

The breeder is a very devoted care giver to his puppies, the dog I got is a great asset to the family unit, lots of care is given to his animals and all shots and paper work from the vet is supplied upon purchase date and pick up of the baby.

This is an excellent breed of dog. The best of both worlds. We know this breeder well. He takes great care of his puppies ... makes sure that they have all of their required shots and treatments. They're definitely his babies. He's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to puppy care. I would recommend him without hesitation!

I have personally delt with this breeder and have found no issues. He loves his dogs incredibly and provides them with the best of care. If the person that wrote the bad review had an issue they should have contacted him directly not gone through the website. These are beautiful puppies!

Such a cute breed! The breeder I know raises them at home, has them vet checked 3 times before they go home, and gives them a lot of people socialization.
