We got our Labernese from Greenfield Puppies in Lancaster, PA. He is the friendliest, most gentle dog you could ever ask for. He is playful and very loving. He has been the most easy going dog who makes friends with everyone and other animals. Could not ask for a better dog. He turns 3 in a few months. So far no health issues, and I pray that he lives a very long, and happy life!

We got Lucy from greenfield in the beginning of June! She has been the perfect puppy, we have never had it easier. She is smart, cuddly, and not overly high strung. She balances out our chocolate lab perfectly. It took a lot of research to convince me into getting this breed. So glad I did! Rosie is the best dog I have ever had. Initially she liked to wonder, but by the time she was 2 years old she stayed in the general vicinity of the home. She has a fantastic gentle temperament and with Very Little training, she hikes with me daily without any need of a leash. She likes dogs, children and people. I am currently looking for another puppy for her to train. The only issue is the chronic ear infection due to allergies. It is a constant battle which continues daily. But she is a 90 lb bundle of love and everyone should want a Rosie.

We got our Labernese in Lancaster. For people who are looking to purchase a puppy there make sure the first thing you do when bringing home a puppy is to give him a flea bath and apply flea medication straight away. Our puppy was infested with fleas and had worms. Otherwise, personality wise it is the best dog personality I have ever seen. Ideal for any type of personality as they seem to adapt really well into different living conditions and atmosphere in the house. Trains very easy.

We've had our pup for three years and he is the BEST dog we've ever had. Loving to us and other dogs he is amazing in every way. He has the most wonderful best traits of both breeds. From what I've read, many folks considering Bernese, worry about their shorter life span. Upon research the life expectancy piece is carried by the mother, so we specifically looked for a lab mom and Bernese sire. He has more of a lab coat (yep, still periodically blows it) and size is smaller than a typical bernese male. Just can't rave enough about how happy we are with him and give the highest recommendation for this mix. As a matter of fact, we are looking to add another. ;-)

We brought Bruno home with us from Jake's farm in July. He has been nothing short of amazing. He has a happy, gentle, lovable personality. He immediately made friends with our other dog and absolutely adores our children. We could not have asked for a better dog. Labernese is the breed we will stick with for the future!

If you like the Labernese, check into Mira Foundation north of Montreal, QB, Canada. http://www.mira.ca/en/ The Labernese there are trained for disabled children and are perfect in temperament, size, and intelligence. I believe the breed was "invented" there for that specific reason. They are resilient dogs; great for kids and the elderly.

Great breed. Our labernese is the perfect family dog. Loves going on walks in town, hikes in the mountains, and swimming in the ocean. Also loves sitting on feet. The Bernese in him mellows out the lab. Great around kids and is the friendliest dog in town. Just wants to be friends with every dog and human he meets. Very easy to train.

We bought Mabel whose mother was Heidi and father was King Micah. She is the fourth lab mix we have owned but the first Labernese. We never thought we would find a better dog than our last dog but we have. "Bella" has the best temperment of any dog we have met. She is lovable, craves attention and listens so well. She always has a smile and a wag to greet you even if its only been 5 minutes since she saw you last. She also gets along fantastic with other dogs and has several dog friends that visit. The ONLY drawback right now is her shedding. If I could only get the kids to brush her more often it wouldn\'t be that bad. We love her and wouldn\'t trade her for anything!
