Our Jackaranian just passed away yesterday at 16 years old. Absolutely the best dog I've ever owned. We purchased her at 8 wks for $50 from the Amish Market in Annapolis, MD. Looking now for another but with no success.

I just lost a Jack-a-Ranian dog She was 13 years old She was definitely the BEST dog I have ever had. She was very independent, intelligent, and sweet.

I have 2. In fact, the picture on this website for Jack- A-Ranians is my Dog Nipsy. I would know my baby anywhere. I got her and my dog Mango (Freida) from this site a few years ago. They are wonderful. Energetic, so loving. They love to cuddle! Having a backyard is always good, they love to run around. They are very trainable. They do tricks and were trained to go on wee wee pads and outside rather quickly.

We have a male, his 2 years old he has got to be the most loving animal I've ever had. He is so smart seems to understand what ever we tell him he says "please" when he wants to play, go outside, by sitting on his back end and waving his little arms. We've always told him it was please so he says it. He can be a bit hyper once he gets his way and gets to play he will settle down get addition to family

We love our Jackarian, she is very loving and cuddly. Very child friendly and everyone that meets her makes a big fuss! Lovely energy and easy to train. A highly recommended breed.

My little Milo is a Jack-a-ranian, he is one of the best dogs I've ever had. He is very hyper as a jack Russell is normally, but a total cuddle bug at night. He is very vocal, but with training that can be minimalized. His fur is a little strange is top coat is full Jack Russell but the bottom coat is fluffy like a Pom.
