I have a cute little Jack-a-poo named Freya. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet but she is also very playful! Perfect lap dog and adventure buddy. I love all poodles but Jack-a-poo’s would have to be my top pick.

I cannot believe that this is not more popular of a hybrid. I lost my Jack a poo after 16 years. Those were some of the best years of my life.

My dog was a rascal and I loved him with all of my heart. He was the best companion I ever had. He passed away several years ago about 4 and I believe I'm over his passing enough to provide a wonderful home for another. My life is not complete without a brave interesting amazing little one like him in it.

I love this breed! They are super smart, totally loving, lap dog, funny, attitude, and overflowing with personality. I would 100% buy this breed again. Coat is easy to take care of too. Doesn't shed much at all.

My JackaPoo is now 11 years old. She is the BEST dog I have ever owned. So mellow and loving. She's independent, but also wants to be by your side. She hardly sheds (only when I give her a bath-then the bathtub is covered!) She is so great with other dogs, cats, chickens, all family members-very patient with little kids. Very weather-tolerant-she is good to go in the heat and in the dead of winter (we live in Upstate New York) Will be the only breed I ever want to own!

Blu was one of our best dogs ever. He was terrific as a puppy...very highly trainable. Never had an accident only a few in his later years. I lost my little guy at 16 1/2 years old a few days after Easter in 2018 to Lymphoma. I will never get over him. I can hardly wait to see him again some day. I loved him to pieces. He had such a great personality! He was good with our other dogs and cats. Never had an issue. Someday I would love to get another Jack-a-poo.

We have only had our Cooper (Formerly Duke) for two months now, but what an amazing 2 months! He is so full of personality! He makes us laugh everyday and he is so extremely smart! Not a lot of shedding and very easy fur to maintain. We have never seen or met a dog quite like Cooper! His coat markings are so unique, people always stop and ask us what he is! He definitely has the body of a Jack but his coat is a wonderful mixture of poodle and Jack. We hope more obedience classes will allow Cooper to eventually become a working dog, we would love to share his quirky yet loving personality with people and children in the hospital.

We have 2 Jack-a-poos. A brother and sister from the same litter. They are the most laid-back dogs ever! But they don't look alike at all! The boy, Milo, has a jack body with ivory poodle hair. Michelle the sister has a poodle body with some of the jack coloring. Milo has a pink nose and pink paw pads. They are like our children! I would give our 2 10 stars!

I had a Jack-a-poo for 11 1/2 years. I lost her on February 4th, 2016. She is the best dog I could have ever hoped to have! She weighed just 2 pounds when I brought her home at 7 wks old. Her entire head would fit inside a 5 ounce paper cup! She was very smart and we had a bond that we could tell what each other was thinking. Words weren't necessary. I know that sounds strange, but it's the truth! I am planning on getting another Jack-a-poo eventually. They are such a joy to have in your life. I would highly recommend this breed to anyone who wants a smart dog that has high energy and loves to play. As long as I kept her hair shaved, she didn't shed. She was remarkably easy to housetrain too. Took about 2 weeks and she never pooped in the house, just tinkled a couple of times. She was an explorer for sure! A leash is definitely a necessity for about the first year or so. Make sure you have a sandbox or somewhere for your Jack-a-poo to dig holes. Digging was only second to playing ball!

Our family has included Betsy for 17 years. She is incredibly intelligent and the best dog I have ever had. She is elderly and nearly blind now but really lives to eat. In her youth she love to fetch, swim and jetski. She can communicate as well as a 1-2 year old and is the best dog ever. My mother-in-law has Betsy's sister Crickett and she's a great dog too. Wonderful, wonderful members of our family.

I owned an amazing Jackapoo for eighteen years. He was the best of both breeds, highly trainable and loyal. We did agility together and he never strayed from my side. Can I give 10 stars?
