We got our Havashu puppy earlier this year. I cannot imagine how we would have survived the pandemic without her. She has a TON of energy but is easy redirected IF she is doing something you do not like (i.e nipping). She was easily trained in the house and on the leash. And she slept thru the night right away!

Best dog. Loves kids. Gets along with other dogs and cats. I had one for 12 years. Will be getting another after I get my back fixed. Plus I need time to grieve the one I lost.

Love our havashu pup so much. She's smart and so willing to learn. I would strongly recommend getting one from Gap, PA.

wanted a Havanese and set out one Friday afternoon to visit 4 breeders. The first one had 2 Havashu pus left. I instantly fell head over heels with one of the two and was taking hime to the car when his brother started WAILING. I turned to my friend to see a tear rolling down her face and ended up taking both. It was the best decision I ever made, both from a breed standpoint, as well as, getting two from the litter. They a so sweet and totally inseparable. It's no more work to have two than one but the rewards have been exponential.

This breed is the best! I am an older individual and was reluctant to get a puppy with so much energy but it turns out she is just perfect. Likes to be close to the owner at all times. Very smart but at the same time can be stubborn. Never sheds.

I instantly fell in love with my havashu! She had the longest eye lashes and beyond adorable. Affectionately called Bitsy, derived from her ancestorial name(s), she was incredibly easy to train from house/outside/trick command/training from day one! With as little as 5-10min a day she continues to be an easy to care for pup. She is now a year and a half and she gets along with everyone, including our rescue pit mix Ana! Bitsy thinks she's bigger than her!

We got Onyx renamed Emmy from Moses King, she's perfectly healthy our family loves her, she's got a great personality knows plenty of tricks, she's a fast learner! I will say I am training her on tolerating kids running around her cause my five year old runs around her and she nips her thigh, but after a few corrections she totally ignores it. I don't recommend going to a home with children younger than 5 just cause the nipping can be a bit much for a toddler.

Easiest dog to housebreak. Very loving and family oriented. Smart easy to train. Must be able to be with the family. They bark a lot and it is loud. That is my only complaint.
