Hip Dysplsia (HD) can develop from genetic or environmental causes. Purchaser acknowledges that a quality diet is essential to maintaining the dog’s health, and that overfeeding and excessive exercise early in the puppies life my cause it to develop HD or other health risks later in life. Nonetheless, Archbold Haus World Class German Shepherdss will assume the risk for Crippling HD until the dog reaches 2 years of age. Confirmed by X-rays by a licensed Veterinarian, and confirmed by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.







A) Keeping the dog diagnosed with HD. Purchaser acknowledges that Archbold Haus World Class German Shepherds has no warranty obligations, all warranties in the Agreement are void and unenforceable, and Purchaser has no right to a replacement dog from Archbold Haus World Class German Shepherds if Purchaser chooses to keep the Dog after it is diagnosed with HD, or if Purchaser otherwise fails to notify Archbold Haus World Class German Shepherds of the Dog’s diagnosis of HD within 10 business days of that diagnosis.



Conditions must be diagnosed and documented by a licensed veterinarian specializing in the respective field, with supporting medical records and diagnostic results provided to the Breeder.







B) Replacement Dog: The Dog is to be returned to us at the expense of the buyer. This is a replacement guarantee only, with a puppy of equal value at time of purchase as soon as possible. There is no guarantee on a replacement puppy/dog.







To maintain this warranty, the Buyer must:



Provide routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, and parasite control.



Feed a high-quality diet approved by the breeder.



Avoid over-exercising the puppy during critical growth stages (under 18 months).



Refrain from breeding the puppy unless authorized by the Breeder.







Exclusions



This warranty does not cover non-genetic conditions, injuries, or illnesses resulting from accidents, improper care, or environmental factors.



The warranty is void if the puppy is rehomed, sold, or transferred without the Breeder’s written consent.



Return Policy



If the Buyer is unable to care for the puppy, they must notify the Breeder. The Breeder will accept the puppy back without financial reimbursement, ensuring the puppy’s continued care and placement.







Care for the puppy/dog: Purchaser agrees to provide good care to the Dog, including proper nutrition ( premium dog food), shelter, exercise, immunizations, veterinary care, and socialization. Purchaser agrees to not overfeed the Dog or subject it to excessive exercise, especially before the dog is One Year of age. ACA Pure German Shepherds is not responsible for care or expenses for the Dog after the Possession Date.







Limitation of Liability



The Breeder’s liability is limited to the value of the puppy as stated in the purchase agreement. The Breeder is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages.
