We loved our GSD Collie Mix! We adopted her at 11 months old. She was the sweetest most loving special dog ever. Very high energy, toys and frisbees were her favorites! We lost out girl recently and we are broken-hearted. I will search endlessly to find a similar mix, she was beautiful inside and out!

I owned a GSD/Sheltie mix, Talley, for almost 16 years. She was the absolute best dog I've ever owned. Other than several Friday night trips to the emergency vet for "dietary indiscretions" lol, she was the best-behaved, most caring dog ever. She loved everyone, and didn't have a mean bone in her body. She would do anything in the world for me, my partner, or my other two dogs. The only aggression I ever saw her show was one time when my partner was using an electric trimmer. Out of nowhere, she jumped up and tried to bite it. We were a little confused at first until we realized she must have thought it was trying to attack him! What a fantastic dog. I'm trying to find another GSD or GSD mix now.

My daughter got a Shollie (German Shepherd and Collie Mix). When she went to college he was used to being with me and quickly became my best friend and therapy dog. We ended up having to put him to sleep when he was only 6 years old because he got cancer and diabetes. He will forever be in our hearts and think of him every day. I would love to find another one just like him and I'll wait until I do.

I had a chow shepherd mix 20 years ago as a rescue. Her name was Sadie. I've never stopped missing her. She died of cancer at 12. Truly the best dog I've ever had. Protective, intelligent, and so loving. She was so regal and absolutely devoted to her family.

We have had a German Shepherd mix and two full breed German Shepherds. They are beautiful, loyal, family oriented dogs. We are looking for a dog that will live with another dog, several cats, and we have two grandsons that visit a lot. We lost a dog to cancer in February and are still mourning. We are an older couple, early 60’s, that walk our dogs twice a day and take our dogs everywhere with us. I am retired, so our dogs spend very little time alone. We have a fairly large yard that is fenced in. If needed we can provide veterinarian and personal references.

His name was sonic. I got him when I was 2 and he was just a puppy he was my best friend. He’s been gone for 5 years and not a day goes by that I miss him. He was loyal and protected you at any cost looked at fear in the eye he was able to be walked with out a leash but you should always keep your dog on a leash. Over all best dog I ever had I love him so much and miss him with all my heart and would do anything to get him back

We lost recently our lab x belgium sheperd dog called Pluto, he was 14y 4 months old. He was just over one year old when I had our twins and he settled quicly to new dynamics in family. We also has golden lab Poppy. Pluto and Poppy were inseperable. This breed is amazing family dog, but needs lots of exercise and suits for active family. He also needed one-to- one attention without children around. He never settlet in kennels during the holidays, home was his territory and there he wanted to stay when Poppy was happy where ever she was fed well! This breed is very intelligent and need stimulation , activity and lots of cuddles. We would love to have another sheperd x later in the year and I would love to hear if there is any available!

We have a 2 y/o Golden-Shepherd mix. With 3 small children, he is the quintessential gentleman for his three human sisters and perfect protector at the same time. He sure knows how to have fun and play with his girls, but he also knows when he needs to protect, and he can hold this fort down like the best of them. He is our dream come true!!! All 72-pounds of him!

I can say with all honesty that my dear sweet Jonas, who was a Shepherd/husky/wolf mix. He was the most amazing loving kind family member, His best friends where my children and even our cats. He was as faithful as could be. I got lucky because he wasn't a runner. He was always with the children and our neighbors never minded when he would sleep in their yards because he was watching over his kids. We live in a small quiet neighborhood so he was loved by everyone. I know Joey was one in a million, but I also know his brothers and sisters were very much like him.

This is an excellent cross. My Shepherd/Husky mix was a gentle giant. He was smart, obedient, low key, protective and loving. He lived up to 12 years old. Will definetely purchase another puppy of this mix.

German Shepherd Pitbull Mixed Breed dog (German Sheppit): My parents have owned a German Sheppit male dog since 2005. My niece brought him home and named him "Otis". My brother refused to allow my niece to keep him because Otis refused to house-break and showed dominant characteristics. After Otis urinated on my brother\'s foot when ordered outside, he was moved to my parents\' farm. As Otis matured, he accepted responsibility for guarding the farm. He is very even-tempered and well-behaved. He is very loving and loyal.
