We've had our female frengle (Bella) for about 3 years now. We originally got her for our son as an emotional support dog. I can't recommend this breed enough if you're looking for a laid back cuddly dog. She is incredibly smart and was easy to train. Beware the do retain the loud beagle bark and howl from their parents.

i’ve had dogs my entire life, and my frengle is undoubtedly my best! my boyfriend and i live in a 3 bedroom apartment, but do lots of running/hiking. our boy is the perfect size (36 lbs) for our home, but is still large enough to keep up with our activities. he has a nice muscular build compared to puggles i’ve seen, even now at almost 5. his fur is incredibly soft, and low maintenance. he does shed, but i expected that preferring fur breeds over hair. he is allergy prone, which we manage with a good diet, air purifiers, etc but i never find it to be excessive to care for. he has an amazing temperment! so much so we plan on breeding him. he’s so friendly and sweet, especially with newborns (both my nephews) and children. he’s also very dog friendly and never aggressive, we bring him to run on trails with other dogs, and have plays dates all the time. he’s also intelligent and was very easy to potty train/teach tricks.

My Frengle is 8 years old. Very smart, very loving. He is my buddy, sleeps with me and stays by my side. He loves to get in my lap and nap. Love this combination of French Bulldog and Beagle. I am a hound lover and was looking for a tiny Beagle but Rascal stole my heart. He is black, white and brindle. Has a narrow white blaze on his face. Wonderful dogs
