My Eskipoo of 171/2 years, was the perfect dog for my young family. She had lots of stamina and energy, but would settle to be cuddled and held too. She was always clean-her coat repelled dirt, and no smell! She loved winter snow outings, but was also game for summer walks. She preferred her family, but welcomed strangers reluctantly.

It's not often the you are blessed with the perfect dog! This breed for me is such. I have had 2 and they are the love of my life. Easily trained, love all kinds of people male, females, and children. They are fantastic with other pets. Mine was full of adventure climbing more mountains than most humans including Mount Washington in NH when she was 13 years old. She is polite, goes to work with me and is the love of the office, continuously bring joy where ever she goes. They do no shed, rarely barks and she gives hugs freely to any that need one.

I have 4 of these. I had been looking for a poodle mix like a mini Goldendoodle but closer to 20 pounds. I was familiar with the American Eskimo as I had owned 2 until thier deaths years ago. Wanted to avoid some of the shedding, hense the poodle mix. 2 of mine are F1b -2/3 Poodle, 1/3 Eskimo. Advantage is no shedding. Disadvantage is matting can occur because of the tighter curls requiring more regular grooming. The other 2 are 50/50 mix. Hardly any shedding. They are high energy in short spurts so not overwelming. You can view one of them on You tube under the heading Happy bouncy puppy. Love to cuddle and be with you. Smart. Great crossbreed.

All around good dog. Small breed that didn't bark a lot. Very calm and laid back but, also ran and played with my small children. Easy to maintain their coat. Sheds but in clumps instead of little hairs everywhere. Became my favorite breed.

Bentley, a pure white Eskipoo who passed on July 17, 2017 was almost like a person to me. He idolized me and was my shadow. He knew sentences, so smart and had eyes and a look that you could not resist. He was 13-1/2 when he passed. His remains will be buried with me. I lost my best friend and I love this hybrid breed. The description set forth is spot on.

Highly intelligent, very sweet loving dog. My Sammi is the most intelligent and sweetest dog that I have ever had. My other dogs have been Bichons and Cockapoos. Sammi is friendly and excited to meet everyone. He is good with children even though he has had very little exposure to them. He is a very devoted companion. He weighs 17 pounds and has no health issues. At 14 years he will still play like a puppy but is and has been a very calm and happy dog.

I have an Eskipoo named JoJo. She has a facebook page "JoJo the Eskipoo". She is an amazing dog. I would recommend this breed for all owners. She is 10lbs, doesn\'t shed, is loyal, intelligent and extremely calm. These are not dogs that will do well being in a crate all day. She does love her crate though. She is part of our family!
