I have an all brown dorgi that we rescued 6 years ago. Rocco is the best dog ever, so loving and loyal. I would recommend this breed for sure. I just recently found out the origins of this breed and love the story. I have owned 3 Golden retrievers that we have rescued and didn't think I would ever find as affectionate a dog as those but my Rocco has made me into a corgi, dorgi lover.

I rescued one from the pound when she was 4 weeks old. I was hooked at the long face and sad eyes. They did not know anything about her. She was very shy and timid. She turned out to bring out love and smiles in all she touched. Recently, she died after 14 years of love. It was years before I found out what breed she was. Yet, she was and is still missed and loved. This breed offers a lot. A lot of personality, quirkiness, and fun for any family.

I love this breed, the disposition is great and they are such a loving little dog. We just lost ours and are deeply saddened. We would like to get another one. Even an older Adult would be fine. We like to walk everyday and walking with a dog is special. Our little dog was Brindle color with four white socks and a white tip on his tail. He had an exceptional disposition. The Best all around dog . I recently like this past Monday had to put my Puppa a Dorgi of 13 years companion AND BEST FRIEND . sMART AND VERY EASY WITH KIDS , OTHER DOGS AND JUST A cHAMPION OF A DOG. He is and will be missed from my life. Now I have a hole in my life that I am not sure I will be able to fill. I am presently looking for another Dorgi. Puppa was Black and Tan. There are no ratings high enough for a Dorgi dog 5 stars more like a heaven of Stars for these dogs I am in shopping mood and would like to hear from anyone with puppies please. A new Dorgi will never fill the void completely but this is a start. I miss my Puppa. I live in Ca. in the High Desserts.

My parents own a Dorgi, and let me tell you...they are the perfect companions! He has been an important part of our family for nearly ten years now. These puppies are extremely active and love to play outside. In my experience, these pups are easy to train and love to learn new tricks. My fiancée and I are looking to own a Dorgi of our own in the very near future. I would recommend this breed to anyone looking for an active companion and may or may not have other pets or children. I look forward to hopefully raising one into my own family!
