We got our beautiful healthy maltipoo puppy from Elva and Jay Paul Shirk in April 2024. Our puppy is very happy and healthy and she has the best personality! She is so sweet and social. She was certainly well cared for. I would recommend Jay paul and Elva Shirk in an instant! Elva was so kind and helpful and she was so patient with all my nerves and questions. We were provided with all of the Puppies medical records, vet checks, and the contact for the vet who performed the wellness checks. She had all the necessary vaccines on schedule and puppy medical exams. My husband went and picked her up and met our puppies parents and see that the puppy and parents were living a happy life in a clean and loving home. The whole process was very smooth and there was Excellent Communication Throughout. We live in New England and our new furbaby was worth the day trip! I am Grateful to The Shirks and happy I found them on Greenfield puppies site. We first submitted a google review but that was more specifically for the Greenfield puppies versus this breeder. So when I realized I want to make sure that the Shirks had a review too. Because they certainly deserve the 5 stars!

We got our girl Maltipoo puppy from Elva Shirk and Jay Paul. April 2024. I cannot recommend this breeder enough! Their prices are beyond fair, But most importantly, their puppies are well cared for socialized and clean and healthy. We couldn’t be happier! She was almost 12 weeks and already so social, friendly and you can tell very well cared for. She was very clean, and healthy inside and out. She’s already had a puppy check up and had her stool sample done and came back perfect. My husband drove from Rhode Island to pick her up. He was able to see that she was raised in a loving, clean environment and my husband was also able to meet our puppy’s parents! Elva has been so kind and patient throughout this whole process. I was nervous about taking a risk and driving so far for a puppy we weren’t able to meet in advance. That is why I’m writing this review for other future puppy parents who are in a similar situation. This is a good breeder!

Jay Paul and Elva, we’re great and took the time to explain all our questions. Remi formally Snowball was just the little girl we were looking for. We are now parents to a 3 year old male maltipoo as well as Remi our addition (14 weeks) we traveled from Rhode Island to pick her up and Boy..! Were we glad that we did. Remi is a beautiful little girl and she will be a wonderful playmate for her brother Tyson. I highly recommend this breeder for a wonderful experience .

I brought home my puppy Zelda (originally named Kayla) from the Shirks back in June. They were super friendly throughout the whole process and answered all questions me and my brother had before picking her up. She now has all her vaccinations and is perfectly healthy. If I had to go through this process again I would 100% choose the Shirks and I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a new furry friend does too!

Jay and Elva are a pleasure to work with. We recently bought our second dachshund from them and they were healthy, beautiful, and easily adapted to the home life here. You could tell they were well taken care of and came from a loving home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Elva and JayPaul were very accommodating and getting in touch with them was easy. The communication from the time of inquiry all the way up to the puppy pick up was smooth. They provided all the information needed, went through the paperwork with me explaining what had been done and needed to do after we take the puppy home. We got the sweetest puppy from this breeder. From the moment he was brought out he was the adorable and loving puppy I've ever seen. He is very intelligent, friendly and well socialized which is a testimate to how well Jay Paul and Elva Shirk raise their puppies. The Shirks were very helpful throughout the entire process, acting kind and accommodating. They take exceptional care of the puppies and it is evident from the moment you meet them. I definitely recommend them when looking for a puppy from a breeder. Whenever I get questions about my dog I always refer them to the Shirks.

What a wonderful experience we had purchasing our two miniature dachshund puppies from Elva and Jay Paul in New Holland, PA! We recently lost one of our two 14 year old miniature dachshunds, so we were looking to find another puppy to be best buds with our senior dog Moose. After looking all around the Northeast region, a friend suggested to look on the Greenfield website. We drove 7.5 hours from Vermont to meet Zeke (Lane). Upon arrival, we found out that his sister Zara (Lily) was still available. We ended up getting both puppies, and we’re so glad that we did. All three of our dogs get along so well! Jay Paul and Elva’s homestead was immaculate, clean, and well taken care of! We highly recommend anyone who is looking for a puppy to look here first. When we’re ready for another puppy again, we’ll be making the long drive to get another one from them. What a great experience! 5 stars all around!

My Rocky (Benjamin) was so adorable, I knew the moment I saw him that he was my puppy. The Shirks were very pleasant and had the puppies ready for me to view. Everything was clean, puppies were active and very well socialized. I visited them a day before the pups were 8 weeks old. They were very accommodating to pick up the puppy two days later. I have recommended them to several people and one friend has already picked out Buster!

We got our Charley (formerly Duke) in April, 2019 and he will be 1 in February. He is the best puppy and our family could not be happier! My initial visit was on a whim and Elva Shirk allowed me to visit the puppies immediately. All of the puppies I saw looked to be very well taken care of and Elva Shirk seemed to be very honest. If and when the time comes to add another Shichon to our family, we will definitely go back to the Shirks.
