I love my dal. He’s the best dog I’ve ever had. I’m not sure why this website says they are low shedders. Dalmatians blow their coat year round. They shed everyday and require a lot of brushing. But they shed a lot. It’s almost comical. They are high energy but extremely loving and affectionate. As long as you exercise and socialize them often, they’ll be the kindest, most loyal dog you will ever have. Ours is great with kids, curious about everything, and loves to chase after birds. They are also extremely fast. I believe they are the 4th fastest dog breed so it’s a lot of fun to go to an open field and play catch. And of course, they are just gorgeous dogs. We love our Dal.

One of the best dogs I've ever owned is dalmatian, super intelligent and tuned in to everything around them , very watchful and protective at night and the most loyal and dedicated animal I've encountered . Very affectionate and demand a lot of attention and working like running them a lot with open spaces . Slightly stubborn and they are manipulative if allowed . Kid safe but have seen times where agitated would growl this must be corrected immediately so they know better . Loving and trustful to there dedicated owner / handler but wouldn't go as far as leaving alone with a child as with any animal that could be grabbed wrong just once and snap .

I have raised 2 Dalmatian puppies. GOOF WAS MY FIRST AT 8 WEEKS,HE WAS BEAUTIFUL HE DIED AT THE AGE OF 6 OF KKIDNEY DISEASE. THREE YEARS LATER I GOT CHUCK HE LIVE TO BE 12 YRS.HE WAS SO SPIECEL THE BEST DOG EVER.I LOVE DALMATIANs THERE ARE A BIG PART OF MY HEART.I am looking again to have another Dalmatian. My heart is not the same without my Dalmatian Chuck. It has been 4 yrs I went through some changes in my life that would not have been fair to a dog.But know Iam so ready for that special spotted dog once again. THANKYOU

I owned a female liver for 13 years. She was my first dog ever and I am now ready for my next liver dalmatian. Very protective of me yet she was awesome with other dogs and people. I agree that training should start as soon as you bring them home. Temperament was gentle, playful in her younger years. They do tend to shed the white fur all year round. These dogs never forget a thing. Very smart and cunning.

Very intelligent dog. Protective of home and family. Very in tune with weather barometer, and will hide from winds. Easiest pet I have ever trained. You have to start training as soon as they arrive home. Alot of the pups I have seen on your site would not be show quality because of their markings.
