Cock-A-Chon Breed Review by Sherry Brisch
I’ve had my darling cockachon for .10 years. He has a happy, mellow and low energy demeanor. He rarely barks and people; young and old. He was a brand mascot at the Humane Society and was delighted to have up to 100 Girl Scouts petting him. One other bonus…excellent health. The only health issue has been his teeth and he had to have 11 removed. This has not stopped him from eating and chewing on pigs ears and bully sticks.

Yes, we had a pure black Cock-A-Chon female for 14 years until her passing today. We will miss her!! She was part of the family, loveable, playful and cuddly. We sure would like another and see you raise Cock-A-Chon puppies. However, we live is Oregon, some distance from Pennsylvania. Maybe you may know of a Cock-A-Chon dog breeder here in Oregon that is reputable. Thanks, missing our Lacy Jolene dog.

I raised a cocker-bichon puppy who was very calm and dignified from a young age and I loved that in him. I named him Alexander the Great because of his indomitable spirit, but he was also snuggly and loved to crawl up high under my chin. He crate trained easily also and was good with my older children (not so good with little ones). I was able to enjoy him immensely for a dozen years although he had epilepsy.

I have enjoyed my Cock-a-chon for 13 years now. He is the sweetest, most easy-going dog I’ve ever met. He’s very low maintenance and loves to go for walks and cuddle on the couch! He’s quite independent as he doesn’t need a lot of attention to be happy. Highly recommend this breed!

I have a corkashon (little bit of Yorkie included. He was a rescue dog and I've had him for 5 years. He's super social, loves everybody especially kids. He's pretty quiet and is super cuddly...always happy. Also, this is my first mixed breed and he has been the healthiest of all of my dogs. Oh, he's adorable and fun.

My heart melted when I first saw our Cock-a-Chon puppy. She's such a beautiful breed. She's affectionate, loyal and willing to please. She's so sweet we named her Sugar, plus she has a pure white coat. We love her so much and show her lots of attention, which this breed craves. In fact, we were thinking of getting Sugar a sister and naming her Spice. But this breed is hard to find. Please let us know if any breeders in our area have a litter of Cock-a-Chon puppies. I'd love to get another.

If you want a dog that is loyal, loving and aims to please. We just lost our Ted of 9 and 1/2 years, and I miss him terribly. He loved everyone and other dogs and children. He had a gentle personality and was mascot for our community. Had I had more time I would have trained him as a puppy for therapy. I would recommend him to anyone. the down swing was the grooming expense. But he sure will stay in our heart forever
