We just said goodbye to Rex, our sweet boy who was the best family dog ever. He was a month shy of 17! Rex was super affectionate, loved to snuggle, and had the most adorable goofy side which prompted him to run lightning fast around the yard. We needed a hypoallergenic dog, and Rex was perfect, with smooth wavy hair that was heavenly to pet.

I have the pleasure of being Heidi ( previously Yasha) happy owner. What an absolute adorable sweet puppy. I’m so extremely thrilled with her. My cavachon is almost 2 years old. She needs A LOT of play and exercise, especially later in the evening. Loves to chase tennis balls. Tends to favor one person in the family. Very good with kids and submissive to other dogs. Very high prey drive - stalks squirrels and birds like a hunting dog.

I’ve own my Cavachon for a year. He is without a doubt the most loving fun dog I’ve ever own. This my first small dog, I’ve always had larger breeds ; German Shepherds and Rotwelliers. I also was a K-9 handler for eight years with our local sheriff’s dept. so I have a vast knowledge related dogs, their train ability, demeanor and temperament. I love my Cavachon because in addition to being love able he is solid in all the above mentioned characteristics.

I had have my Cavachon for 2 years he is the sweetest dog. Loves attention, doesn't bark, loves to play with other dogs, doesn't jump on people but very playful. Has never bitten. Listens to commands but still has accidents in the house although mainly goes outside. He will cry for attention, just needs love.

My daughter talked me into a Cavachon after my husband passed away 12 years ago. I did not want a dog at that time. It was the best dog I have ever had!! She developed lung cancer recently and unfortunately I had to have her put to sleep. She was my best friend for 12 years and I loved her as much as I love my children and am grieving terribly. I was not going to get another dog, but I may later on. My Cavachon was totally awesome.

Our experience with our male Cavachon has been the best. He was friendly, potty training was the easiest for any dog we have owned. He was friendly with our granddaughter, and with other dogs. He was very loving and sweet to everyone. Our dog Blue was such a joy and is probably our best dog we have had to date.

These dogs are great! I got a male puppy in December and he is growing into a charming little boy! This breed is so smart, my little dog learned how to ring the jingle bells on the door to tell us when he needs to go out!! He gets along with kids, and even my cranky senior cat. He is crate trained and an absolute easy pup. I HIGHLY recommend this charming and loving breed to anyone.

We got our puppy in June. He is the most amazing pup we have ever had. He is smart, an so sweet and cuddly. He was potty trained in a few weeks and had almost no accidents and learned not to chew so quickly. He's playful but not hyper. He coat is super fluffy and he needs a lot of grooming but he likes being brushed so it's not bad. I thought he would be a little smaller. He's approaching 9 months and is almost 19 pounds, so he is going to be a little bigger than we expected, but he adorable face and attitude are worth it.

Lucy is a sweet, friendly pup. She has been easy to train. We take her to our beach home (3 hours) and she sleeps, no fus, no problems. She loves other people, dogs, and cats. The Cavachon is a great blend. Smart and easygoing. Likes her bath too!

We have our little girl Cricket, for a little over a year now. She is a beautiful gentle Cavachon who loves everyone and everything. We couldn't have asked for a better family addition. She ended up being a little under 9 pounds, which is perfect for us. Cricket is sweet, smart, and extremely loving. We got her at 8 weeks old, she was the smallest in the liter, 2 lbs 8 ounces, but with the attitude of a Great Dane!! We love her to pieces.

We have had our Cavachon, Josie, for 3 years. She is super loving, playful and wonderful with kids and other pets - not an aggressive bone in her body. Josie wants nothing more than to be best friends with everyone and cuddle on the couch. A great benefit to this breed is that she is is pretty much shed-free. That said, she is a barker which can be annoying; definitely the Bichon in her.

Dog looks totally different @ 16months than it did @ 9 weeks. He was an adorable white brown and black puppy when I bought him, he is now a wheat colored dog. Looks nothing like he did as a puppy. Very cute looking, loveable, hard to train. He is the hardest dog I've ever trained. It's definitely the Bichon in him. Still not fully housebroken, loves to climb, chews everything and scratches walls and door. He is very big, weighs 30 lbs and according to my vet he is not overweight . Just a big sweet dog!

I rescued a Cavachon from the Humane Society in my home town. He was a marvelous pet with all positive attributes for a dog. His only problem was his very loud barking which was not malicious, but disturbing to certain neighbors when he was outside. Unfortunately, one day when he was outside without me, he was taken by a neighbor and given to a family with a fenced in yard. I was ill at the time and had let him out ( he always returned home) and since he knew her, let her take him to her home. Since he loved being outside, I thought this was best for him although it broke my heart because I loved him very much. He was loving, active, happy and a wonderful pet!

We have a 1 year old Cavachon, purchased using this site, and he is a little devil. We love him to death but he is a MAJOR chewer, has ruined furniture, carpets, a myriad of toys and clothes and bites us non stop. We have taken him to behavior classes and used sprays etc...but traditional methods aren't stopping it. He also sheds quite a bit, much more so when he was a puppy but continues to shed now. We groom every 6-8 weeks and brush in between. He does have a great personality but needs constant attention and is not a "snuggler " at all. Great breed but our experience has been highly energetic and a little troublemaker.

Purchased a male cavashon from the Esh's in Gordonville, Pa. One of the best dogs I have ever owned. His temperament is laid back. He is smart, in that he has learned six tricks. He was easily housebroken and great with kids. Would definitely recommend a cavashon to anyone looking for a small dog.

What an absolutely delightful breed. We have two Cavachon dogs and love them both so much. The breed is still developing as obviously my two dogs don't lookalike at all. One clearly dominant as a Cavalier KC the other dominant as a BF. However, the personality of this breed is unmistakable, loving, playful, smart and super cuddly! They love to cuddle and gentle play, they are loyal easily trained, no shedding adaptable and super loving to family and visitors. These are a couple of kids to us. We love them as cherished family members. 100% love these dogs!

We adopted a 19 week old male Cavachon (found on Greenfield!) two years ago. He was the runt of his litter. He\'s exactly 10 pounds now. He was easiest dog we\'ve ever trained. He was housebroken within days. I taught him to sit on command within 20 minutes of his first training session. He\'s very quiet, well-behaved, loving, and keeps my entire family happy. He\'s the most spoiled family member in our house. I can\'t say enough good things about the Cavachon breed. You can\'t go wrong when adopting a Cavachon! Most loving dog/family member ever.
