My 4 1/2 year old full bred Eskie is such a wonderful dog. Very intelligent, full of energy, loves everyone and all other dogs, cats and most all of other animals. The only problem I have with her is she constantly sheds. I have her groomed every three weeks, but in between her fur is all over my house, I have to vacuum every other day and clean everything else as often. I wouldn’t trade her for anything, I love her too much❤️

I am on my second American Eskimo / German Spitz. I got my second dog, Finn, from a listing on Greenfield puppies shortly after my Eskie, Tag passed. I am in love with this breed. They are beautiful dogs and they are crazy smart. They get very, very attached to their owners and are very shy and stand-offish around strangers. They make great watch dogs. They are easily trained and are very eager to please their owners. They do have a lot of energy and need a lot of attention. Both Tag and Finn were very affectionate with my cats. They are lovely dogs. Tag was very serious and an old soul but Finn is super sweet and silly. The breed seems to be very food driven. A lot of exercise is recommended.

We got our puppy Bella from paradise PA two years ago. It was one of the best days of my whole families (especially my 2 daughters) lives! These puppies are the cutest and sweetest things you will ever see. Our dog who just turned two was the most amazing puppy and worth every early morning. Now she probably the only dog I know who is both adorable and strikingly beautiful. She is so sweet and although she is high energy and loves to play she can also be the snuggliest thing. She sleeps with my daughters every night. No matter what mood you are in this breed is absolutely perfect, affectionate, loyal and sensitive. I can’t imagine ever having a different breed!

An extremely energetic breed who loves their people, and will NEVER leave their side. They unfortunately are big barkers, and they love to talk so it can be noisy but it depends upon the dog: I had 2 (brother and sister/litter mates) one barks annoyingly the other only when there was a knock on the door. I have had many different dogs, and loved them all but my Eskie’s-they stole my heart!

One of most enjoyable dogs I have ever owned. Ours is not good with strangers. Very aggresive with a person that he doesn't think should be there. Loves to exercise or go on walks. Great with all of my family. I will definitely own another one. Love this breed.

I have had my Eskie for 18yrs now and she is slowing done slightly.I wish to find another Eskie soshe can help train. They are wonderful companions,quiet, and even tempered. Don't think you can fool them, they know you better than your spouse. Intellegent and attentive,they require brushing at least twice a week/ Can you tell I love,love,love them!

Dog is very well behaved. Great watch dog. Good with people as long as you introduce him. If you have service person coming you may want to lock up dog. My dog trained easily with treats. Likes to be by people, likes to chill, likes walks hikes, however if hiking this dog has long fur so keep him out of broad bush or anything else that can get caught in fur.

I just lost my 14 1/2 year old Shiba Inu that I had since she was 8 weeks old. I am not looking for that breed because I loved her so very much and she could never be replaced in my heart. I live in Sun Lakes, AZ. and on a greenbelt with walking paths and know a walker who has this breed. I was looking for a few months old and thought Karl on the website would be a fit for me being born in July. However, I have rescued 2 adult cats, so he would have to get along with with them. They are used to dogs.

Incredibly smart and easy to train. Loyal multi-family member companions. Social with other dogs. Wonderful fun dog in winter, but not to be housed outdoors! Great with small children. Long lifespan - 16-18 years; but never long enough. A great travel companion.

Our first dog was a standard American Eskimo we rescued from a lady who bought it for her grandchildren but the parents refused it. Our second dog was a 2year old rescue from our local humane society. She was a mini Eskie. Our third dog was a puppy we bought locally from a breeder who vetted us thoroughly. She also was a mini Eskie. Both my husband and I miss her terribly. She was so sweet and loving. Unfortunately the local breeder no longer raises them, and we are looking extensively. We can give vet references but long distance travel is not possible at this time. My husband has health issues that he can't travel, and he needs me here to care for him. Our yard is fenced with a privacy fence that the three previous dogs have never breached We love the silly antics and energy that the eskie display.

This was the perfect family dog for us. Not too big, but not too small. Highly active and affectionate with children and other animals. Besides the protective barking over everything, which was why we chose him to begin with. This was by far the best dog I ever owned.

I had an American Eskimo for 12 years. THE smartest dog I ever had. He was the only puppy in puppy class to pass his final test of cookies being thrown on the ground and had to "leave it" until he was told it was ok. Even while other puppies ran around eating all of the treats he sat patiently and waited! He was so loyal too, always by my side and loved Frisbee.

We lost our american eskimo dog 7 months ago and we miss him so so much. There's such a void in our lives, we would like to give another one a forever home. I have been looking to give a forever home to an Eskimo dog, as that is the only breed I have ever adopted & raised. They are the best. Please help me in purchasing a puppy as our dog died 7 weeks ago & the house is lonely. My father lives with me & is retired. So he or she will never be alone plus I have a large fenced in yard. We have had 2 Eskimo dogs& they are a precious breed. They are smart, loving, cuddly, great hearing, protective, friendly at dog park just absolute wonderful dogs. I realize that the first 2-3 years of their lives, they still can be like puppies. They need to get out daily for walks or play time. I know I can give another Eskimo puppy a wonderful home. I love my Eskie. He is the best pooch I could have ever asked for. So smart and if you exercise them they are the best pets. Exercise is a must or you will have a runaway! They usually come back reeking of skunk here where I live and covered in head to toe mud. Although their coats are like Teflon and once dry it all falls off! Very clean dogs too. Not drooling or slobbery. I am about to get another tomorrow to start hobby breeding they have brought me so much joy.. :)
