Daisy will be 1 year old on Dec 13th. She is so special. We lost our 3 elderly Shitzu's within a year of each other and thought we were staying dog free so we could do some traveling. We adopted our Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise (Teddy Bear) puppies from Stephen Stoltzfoos 6 1/2 and 4 years ago. The first time our puppy was flown to us only on an airline that Mr. Stoltzfoos felt comfortable with and we picked up our second puppy from his home since we were visiting family nearby. He was able to see the first pup we adopted from him again and we were able to personally meet him, his wife and granddaughter. He is even on our Christmas card list and we send him updated pictures of his puppies we adopted.

Mr. Stoltzfoos was wonderful. He sat dow and introduced my son to Misha and gave me thorough instructions on her care. He gave me shot record a birth certificate and more. Misha has been a great addition to our family and has helped my son with his separation anxiety a lot. I highly recommend.

Working with Stephen and his family was amazing. They are truly knowledgeable about the breed (bich-poo) and were available for any questions we had. We arranged for the puppy we chose to be placed on hold for us for 2 weeks so we could complete some previously scheduled traveling and that was no issue at all. When we came back we picked up little Patuzo (formerly Sammy) , a large bag of the food he was already comfortable eating , and his full medical records. let me just mention I am one to never really leave reviews. But this family/breeder definitely deserves this review. Mr. Stephens and his wife are the absolute sweetest ever they made us and our children feel very comfortable throughout this process. Our daughter suffers from severe dog allergies so they allowed us to bring her and expose her to this specific breed and let us play with her for while just to see how her body would react. Not everyone would do this so that alone was very nice of them. The purchase process was super quick & easy and he also gave us a ziplock bag of food to go with what she was already eating to last of a few days how awesome and thoughtful is that!!!! While we were there you could tell that the pup had a connection with her breeder she kept going to him to play this family cares for their animals for sure you can tell! Not to mention the beautiful property and home they're blessed with! We are obsessed with our Bich-poo “Ashlee” who we renamed and is now Scarlett! She’s is already sooo loved & spoiled! I called a late night with a question I had and Mr. Stephens returned my call right away. If your second guessing your purchase just don’t and go with this family for sure you won’t regret it!

Over thanksgiving, my family and I drove over from MD to PA to get our bichon frise puppy, Gavin, our sweetest boy. I got my puppy 3 weeks ago and she is the sweetest little pup. She was older, 5 months, but the vet said she is perfect. He mentioned he was surprised, people usually want 3 month or less but she was well cared for and up to date on all shots when we got her. I picked up my Sadie back on 7/07/22 on the site she was Chloe, she joined my 2 6 yrs old female Maltese. Stephen was friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions, place looked clean, although i did not go inside. He brought her out to me. Now about Sadie, i drove over 3 hrs each way to get her. I fell in love with her right through the picture and when i saw her i knew she was coming home with me. She is friendly sweet smart alert playful and the most loveable eyes, she is just perfect, even with her little imperfections. I did not notice she had a little slit in her tongue and it was not disclosed to me either. Her paperwork from the vet states no hernia, but a few weeks after i got her i found an umbilical hernia. I won't say it wasn't disclosed, because it pops in and out, so i will give it the benefit of a doubt. Her genetic testing came back with no health risk factors, overall she is very healthy. and her DNA shows she is 50% poodle 50% Shiatzu.I wanted to wait for my review to make sure she was fully healthy and no major issues. I would recommend getting a puppy from Stephen.

We were looking for a puppy and found Leah a Bichon-Poodle mix. She is very sweet, good with kids, easy going, and healthy. Mr. Stoltzfoos and his family were so kind and helpful, we are very thankful we were able to find such a great puppy.

My husband and I have been entertaining adding a pup to our family since the end of 2019; we figured our Bich-poo might like a little friend. Unfortunately, we lost our girl suddenly to cancer at 13 years of age last month. She was our world. We were devastated and lost without her. I’ve visited Greenfield puppies over the past couple of years (just to look) and Mr. Stoltzfoos’s puppies always appealed to me; they always appear bright eyed, alert and beautiful. It was difficult to choose, but in the end, we took home sweet “Ofelia.” She has been a blessing and a joy to our family and is helping to mend our broken hearts. She is very alert, inquisitive and smart… training so far is going better than I can have ever imagined for a 10week old pup!! Tom & I would like to sincerely thank Steve for the beautiful Bichon we purchased today. Our beautiful daughter was tragically killed by a hit & run driver last October. Well, August 2014 we came to meet Pepper on a beautiful farm in Pennsylvania. We bought him and named him Buddy the Dog. Almost 8 years later he is still perfectly healthy and so well loved. We love our Penny our Bichpoo that we got from Mr. Stoltzfoos. She is a great family dog - great personality. She will play actively with the 3 kids like tug-of-war and chase balls (working on fetch). But she will also cuddle up on the couch. Also, our kids allergies are unaffected by Penny. She slept all night after the first day or two and was very easy to potty train. Really recommend this type of dog.

So my family and I took Champ, a.k.a. jumper, home on August 11th. I know it’s only been a week and a half, but he has brought such joy to our family after we lost our other dog in April. I never thought I would love another dog as much as I loved the one that we lost… Champ is a perfect addition to our family. He is so gentle, loves to kiss, play and sleeps through the night and is just such a good boy. We love him very much and we can’t wait for all the memories we are all going to make together. We cannot thank Stephen enough for holding him a week for us until we were able to drive up there to get him. We did a handshake deal over the phone and he kept his word. We arrived on the date and time we agreed and our new son Champ was ready for us to take home. The whole process was simple and perfect, and you could tell that Stephen took excellent care of this pup. Please be careful, and distinguish between a cute puppy and a good breeder: We bought a bich-poo from Mr Stoltzfoos. He is obviously wonderful, and we love him very much. However, in hindsight there are many signs that Mr Stoltzfoos is a mass producer of puppies which might not receive the care from him you'd expect. First of all, he offers multiple breeds and many puppies. Then he doesn't show you the parents or the place they are kept. He is also highly transactional, and the overall in-person experience seemed somewhat staged. Finally, he uses a relative to do the medical exam. Please, judge for yourself and read up about Amish puppy mills before buying here. If you already bought one from him, observe if your puppy has behavioral (e.g. anxiety, aggression, difficult to potty train) or medial issues (e.g. infections).

Stephen and his wife are so charming. Their home and puppie breeding place is fantastic, spotlessly clean and pristine. I just got 2 puppies and in one day they are already learning to fetch, come and pee and poop on pee pads. They are both so smart. I would 100% recommend this breeder.

We brought our Maggie (formerly Mandy) home June 23, 2021. She is an adorable, energetic Shichon who gives us a lot of love and laughs. She’s very healthy according to our vet and hasn’t met a stranger yet. According to Maggie anyone that comes into the home is here for her. She’s a bundle of energy that is non-stop play but also likes to cuddle. We have recommended Greenfield Puppies as well as Stephen to a few people because we are above satisfied with Maggie.

Drove for almost 3 hours to meet Rosie (now it's Chloe). She is just so adorable, fun, loving and playful pup. My first time to have a puppy and Mr. Stephen Stoltzfoos and his wife are so great. We got our puppy in January - she's now six months old! When we got Erica (now Joy) she was already pretty much crate trained (thanks to the breeder :D) and only took a few weeks/months to be potty trained! She's super sweet, rarely barks, sleeps through the night, friendly to strangers/other dogs and likes to eat cicadas. We recommend Stoltzfoos highly! If you want a Bich-poo, this is the place you want to be! :)

My sweet Rosie (she was previously names Shiloh) is indeed a SWEET dog. She sleeps in my bed, waiting for me to get up every day. She will not get up until I get up. In a matter of only 3 days (!!!) she already knew how to pee in the pad during the night. She was VERY easy to train. Of coarse, we still have accidents, but she is doing tremendous well. She is adorable. Super playful. Loves to fetch the ball. Great companion. I’m very please with her sweet personality. Doing business with Mrs Stoltzfoos was a very good experience. He was kind and patient with me since the beginning but holding “Shiloh” one week longer until I was able to get her. He was also very patient with me when I forgot to pay the taxes when I wrote the check. He is a kind and patient man! I highly recommend him as a breeder. I hope to soon buy a sister for my Rosie from Mrs Stoltzfoos.

We fell in love with our bichpoo Jax, the minute we met him. Stephen and his wife Sylvia have such a beautiful property in Lancaster and their home is immaculate. We adopted a BichPoo puppy who we named Toffee from Stephen Stoltzfoos around New Year and he turned 6 months old today. Toffee is an absolute delight. He is intelligent, playful, cuddly, and healthy. Toffee loves everyone and everyone loves him! He is calm when he should be, and playful when he can be. He is also the most expressive puppy ... always making eye contact with us and tipping his head from side to side in the most adorable way. Stephen is the best! We purchased Grizz a year ago this past November and we are "in love" with our Grizz! He trained very easily and very quickly. Purchased this Shichon now named VINO from Stephen. Found Stephen and his wife very hospitable and easy to work with. He was very patient with all my phone calls and was extremely helpful. His home and kennel facility was spotless. Although we were not able to see the parents of Vino, Stephen brought us as many dogs as we wanted to see to make our decision. We recently took Vino to Vet for first check-up and heart and lungs look good..just a few minor puppy issues to deal with nothing major. This little guy brought joy to our home after loosing our precious toy poodle of 16 years. I did extensive research and I highly recommend Stephen as I feel he is a reputable breeder and produces healthy and family oriented puppies.

Friendly, I went out to his place not knowing what to expect and I guess he sized me up and matched me with exactly what I was looking for. A Bichon Poodle puppy. I have named him Dudley and my vet says he is in great condition. His property is well kept and I met his wife and granddaughter. Everyone I met was kind and attentive to my objective. ( Getting a good dog ) It is also a good thing I did not take my wife or we would of had two dogs. She is very happy with my choice and wants to know why I did not get two.

I got my Teddy Bear puppy, Shelby (Dahlia), from Mr. Stoltzfoos in December 2019. She loves to play, loves our walks, loves going to the park and doggie daycare to play with the other pups and is a joy to have in my life. We have had Luna for over three years now... she is a bichon poodle mix. I cannot rate this breeder high enough. Luna is now a treasured member of our family. We have had very few health problems with her, and problems in general, compared to so many other dogs I know. She was so easy to train... she doesn’t even bark! She has the sweetest and most loving demeanor of any dog I know. Of course training does come into play, but I 100% believe that the breeding is equally responsible for producing such a healthy and incredible pup. Your search is over! You do not need to look for another breeder... if we decide to add another dog to our family, we will definitely come back to Stephen.

We got a puppy from Stephen and his wife a couple weeks ago, a toy poddle/bichon mix. WE ARE IN LOVE!!! He was a gift to my grandma and he is absolutely perfect!!! The property was absolutely beautiful and so clean. You really could tell that the dogs had a beautiful first part of their life until their fur-ever homes were found. Stephen and his wife were so nice and patient as we played with Archie (now names Reiley). He has all of his shots too. Thank you so much to you both for helping us with such an important decision. You will not regret choosing them as your breeder. We will be back when my mom is ready for a puppy.

I have been so happy with my little Lily. Stephen has really giving me a wonderful addition to my family. She makes me laugh and smile everyday. She is incredibly smart making her easy to train. Stephen and Sylvia Stolfoos provided the best experience for our family when buying our adorable puppy! They were very flexible in allowing us to visit their place and pick up the pup when it was most convenient for us. This is Cookie, today 6/11/2020 is turning 1 year old, my kids love him. We went to PA from Maryland to pick up him driving by hours, my husband and my 2 kids, wen we meet him, we know that's our dog! He is healthy and completely white. The first nights poor Cookie was crying , missing the mother and brothers. We are so happy with our dog, the breeder Mr Stephen he was so nice helping me with question because it was our First dog with no idea how to take care of him. But our dog is happy with us. Thanks! Let me start by saying this is my second review for Stephen. In February of 2016 we got our Morkie (now named Zippy) from Stephen and he has been the best dog we could ever ask for. My wife and I agreed that when the time was right to get a second dog, we would only go back to Stephen. In March, my wife and I decided that it was time to expand our family. When we looked at the pups Stephen had available, he had a small Shichon available named Zippy. With it being a breed that we wanted, and having the name of our current pup we got from Stephen, everything seemed to align and tell us this was the pup for us. I picked up the Shichon (now named Zoodles) at the end of March and much like his older brother, his vet check was spotless. Since the moment he entered our house he felt right at home. Both pups get along very well and the Shichon is extremely smart and energetic. I always recommend Stephen to anyone who is looking to get a smaller breed dog because he is definitely one of the best. His knowledge and care for the dogs shows the amount of effort he puts in and wants to ensure anyone who gets one of his pups is getting the best pup they could ask for.

We have gotten both of our pups from Mr. Stoltzfoos. Bash (Maltese-yorkie) 5 years ago, and Pam (Binchon-Shitzu) a year and a half ago. They were both healthy and happy when we brought them home. The vet checked them out as being in perfect health and they continue to thrive. The process was easy and enjoyable. Our pups are so loved and we are so thankful for them. When the day comes to get a new addition, this is where we will be coming!!!

We purchased our Bichpoo from Mr. Szoltzfoos on 3/27/2020 among the COVID-19 hysteria. The process was fast, simple and safe, the suggested 6 foot social distancing was kept at all times. The puppy was brought to us outside by Mr. Szoltfoos where we were allowed to play with him while deciding whether or not to adopt. Our new puppy is healthy, energetic and adorable. My two daughters are in love with him and are catering to his every need since we are all on quarantine in my county. I was searching for two weeks before I stumbled across this website and Mr. Szoltzfoos. He was very professional, informative and quick to respond. I look forward to adopting another puppy from him in the near future.

i was referred to Grrenfield puppies from my cousin who purchased a Goldendoodle on this website. It was so easy using Greenfield Puppies to choose the right puppy & Breeder. We did a lot of research on the Breeder. So in January 2020, after 11 years since losing our beloved Maltese, Dylan we decided it was time to get a new puppy. We were so pleased when we drove up to the immaculate, beautiful farm & home that the Breeder Mr Stephen Stoltzfoos maintained. He and his wife were lovely, patient people that truly cared for the puppies they raised. The puppies were all happy, well adjusted as well as healthy looking. We came for Katie a ( Maltese/ Poodle/ Bichon Mix ) but we’re open to a Shih Tzu we saw as well. The Shih Tzu was only 7 weeks old so he would not release her. He asked us to return in a week when the puppy was 8 weeks if we wanted her. The trip was too long for us to make again so we then decided to choose Kinnsey. A ( Maltese/Poodle/Bichon ) We now call her Lola! She is so friendly , smart & happy. We brought her to our vet who gave her a clean bill of health & was pleasantly surprised how well adjusted she was to people. It is now 2 months later And we couldn’t be happier. She is a quick learner !! She sits, lies down and fetches a ball on command. She is potty trained and a joy to be around. She loves other dogs and children. I would recommend this Breeder in a heartbeat & would consider getting another puppy from him in the future. Lola is a dream puppy! Just look at that face! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Stoltzfoos!

Stephen was wonderful to work with and was very patient, he answered all of my questions and faxed me all the papers I requested. We renamed the puppy Bella and she is so smart she learned her name in less than a week she is a little shy but she’s breaking out of her shell. If I ever buy another pup I will definitely buy from Stephen again!

We got our puppy Taffy (Shi-tzu/Maltese/ Bichon mix) about a year ago from Mr. Stephen Stoltzfoos of Ephrata, PA.The Greenfield Puppies website is very user friendly and helped us quickly identify and locate the best puppy for us. He brought the entire litter onto the lawn so we could interact with and get to know them all.Our first year with Taffy has been a pleasure! She is adorable, easygoing and was easy to train. She is healthy and has a very happy and loving demeanor. Our vet mentioned several times that it was clear Taffy's breeder had taken all necessary precautions and went the extra mile in her preventative health.We highly recommend Greenfield Puppies and Mr. Stephen Stoltzfoos. If we ever choose to adopt again, we will definitely go back to him.

Two years ago we bought our first mini poodle/maltese/bichon from Stephen Stoltzfoos. Tucker has added so much to our family. We needed a gentle, non shedding puppy to share with my elderly mother. Tucker amazed us. When Mom was on hospice at home, I would spend nights there and wake up with Mom up to 3 times a night. If I didn't hear her right away, Tucker would come and paw at me until I woke up and attended to her. Once Mom passed away, my husband and I often scouted Stephen's web page on Greenfield Puppies and gave ourselves all kinds of excuses why we should not get a second one. Well, one day we called him and took a ride to purchase Lottie-da, who will be Tucker's companion (once she loses her baby teeth). We have spent a month getting used to her puppy ways and falling in love with her. She is the same combination but has different parents. She looks a bit different too. His poodle surfaced, and we are waiting to see what she will look like when she is grown. She is a busy girl, and we can see how Tucker has matured in contrast to her. Trust Stephen. He knows how to breed dogs for health, looks, temperament, and intelligence. We love our babies.

We saw Fiffer (aka Lucy Lou) online and after looking at pages of puppies we knew she was our puppy. My wife has asked for a special puppy for a Kong time, so with Xmas a couple days off it was meant to be.I called and spoke to Stephen, and he was very informative as well as helpful knowing the different puppies and their temperaments. Fiffer (Lucy) was perfect. Stephen offered to ship, but that sweet little creation by God was not going through that ordeal from PA to TX alone! So on the plane I went.First the drive from Philly airport to Stephens farm is incredibly beautiful. Then...WOW this is a dream ranch! Perfectly manicured and one of the most beautiful well maintained farms I have seen anywhere. Stephen and his wife are dedicated and very hard working.We saw several puppies although Stephen assured, Fiffer was best fit. After 30 minutes....she was for sure.One warning....I brought a travel cage but car sickness is something to be prepared with a roll of paper towels and some wipes which I luckily brought.Once to the airport Lucy was tired, and slept the entire two hours ride on my lap (thank you AA) with some ice chips to lick on in between naps. I am so glad I made this trip! Crazy yes, worth it 110%.Home our vets assured this was a well bred puppy, and in perfect health. We love her beyond belief and she loves bossing our 12 yr old Labradoodle and around for Play/Run/Laugh sessions. Already house trained (almost) and sleeping through the night since day one with a. Trip out or two.Buy with confidence! These are warm intelligent committed breeders, who follow their Amish traditions in their lives and with these precious Gods creatures that we will love and enjoy.

We adopted our sweet girl, Riley, a bichon poodle mix from Stephen in September of 2017. I love this little girl more than anything this world could offer me. She is the sweetest, most loving girl. She was the shy runt of the litter who wanted nothing to do with us. She was terrified, but I could not resist her. Now she is attached to me by the hip. I could not come up with a more perfect girl <3

Once we made up our mind we made the trip to PA from the DC area. House and property were beautiful and as nice as Stephen was on the phone, him and his wife were even nicer in person. We ended up leaving with Violet (now named Itsy) and could not be happier. she is so sweet, Vet confirmed that she is healthy and was clearly well taken care of. We recently made the trip from Pittsburgh to check out a couple of Stephen’s Bichon-poo’s. Once we met Topsy, our search was over. All of the dogs were obviously healthy and happy and very well cared for. Our new pup is an absolute joy. He’s so smart and so sweet. We renamed him Murphy and we are so happy to provide him with his FOREVER HOME. Our experience with Stephen and his wife was exceptional. We could not recommend anyone any stronger.

We found Mykonos, a Teddy Bear (previously known as Sarge) on Greenfield and Stephen Stoltzfoos was so wonderful to work with. Stephen is in Pennsylvania and we are in Florida. My husband is a commercial airline pilot and what I was most impressed with is that Stephen just wanted the puppy to fly on the airline that he felt most comfortable with and knew that the puppy would be taken care of. Mykonos has been the best puppy ever and 2 years later we decided to adopt another. We adopted Flynn (previously known as Jemma) another Teddy Bear with the same father, Toby. We drove to Stephen’s after visiting family in Delaware this past Thanksgiving. He and his wife are wonderful and the puppies are well taken care of.

Quest was the puppy I needed. Mr. Stoltzfoos was very patient with me because I had just lost my dog of a 11 years. When I picked up Quest (Fonzie) he was happy to see me and ready to go home. I would recommend Mr. Stoltzfoos and his puppies to anyone one who wants a new best friend!

Our little Ollie has completed our family and enriched our lives in ways we could never even imagine! Having never purchased a pup before, we didn't know what to expect. Working with Stephen was smooth and delightful. He is Amish so you can trust that everything will be on point. His property is absolutely gorgeous and neat as a pin. We met his wife and she was sweet as can be. Oliver is 7 months now and is happy and healthy, with not a problem from the day we got him. The only regret we have is not getting 2!

We have had our little guy for a week now. He got a clean bill of health from a vet. He is so affectionate and playful while also able to be calm and cuddley. He is good with our son and all visitors who come over including young niece and nephew. The breeder's home was clean and it was obvious how well cared for and socialized this puppy was before we got him. We love our little Missy! She has brought such joy to our lives. We've had our little girl for 3 months now. We immediately had a great first impression of Stephen Stoltzfoos. When he brought some puppies out for us to see, we could tell that the puppies were well loved. They climbed on his lap and played with him as we all sat on the grass. When my wife and I bought our new home, we couldn't wait to bring a little furbaby into our home with us. One of our neighbors had a Morkie that we fell in love with and one of our friends got a Maltese through a Greenfield puppies breeder. I took him to the vet last night, and she said the little guy was in perfect health and said he was adorable and was well taken care of. Mr. Stoltzfoos was a pleasure to work with and is very professional in his work. His property is gorgeous and makes a great home for growing pups. He even provided us with a couple of samples of food to get the pup going. If my wife and I ever decide to get a little brother or sister for our Zippy, we will go back to Mr. Stoltzfoos.

In August of 2014, we happened across the cutest puppy named Pepper. He was three months old and weighed 1.7 lbs. We had to have him right then and there! Our vet was very impressed with him. He was very easy to train and very smart. Mr. Stoltzfoos is a kind breeder and cares for his animals well. To make a long story short, we renamed Pepper to Buddy the Dog, and he has topped out at 6.3 lb, and he is very healthy. If we should find ourselves shopping for a puppy, we will make the drive to Ephrata PA again for sure.

We purchased Fritz whose new name is Maximus from Stephen Stoltzfoos on Jan 17, 2015. I want to say my 3 hr drive was well worth it. We took him home and, of course, he was calm and hid from us. But 24 hrs later he was acting like a puppy, jumping, playing and biting since he's teething. I had a concern and called Stephen who returned my call and answered all my concerns. Today we took him to the vet, and he is the cutest healthy 5.6lb baby boy. Thanks for the puppy again and would recommend him and his families puppies any day.

We purchased a puppy from Mr. Stoltzfoos in Ephrata, PA. We found him on Greenfield Puppies website. A shichon puppy I originally called about was no longer available when I arrived, but he had a litter available of shitzu mix puppies. They were adorable. They were half shitzu and half yorkie-chon. My husband chose the first little pup that came to us and we named her Lucy. Mr. Stoltzfoos was very nice and his family lovely. I took my pup for her first vet visit, and she is in good health. The vet said she seemed very well taken care of. We are very happy and would recommend Mr. Stoltzfoos to others.

I had been trying to adopt a young rescue with poodle in it for quite some time and was getting frustrated. I knew that some people go to Lancaster to get their dogs so I began to research and read about the dogs and their breeders. I found Kirk, now called Tucker, and instantly fell in love with him. So glad rescue didn't work out because I am so very happy with our little Maltichon/Poodle mix that we bought 4 days ago from Stephen Stoltzfoos of Ephrata. This breeder really knows how to combine the parent dogs' best genes in his quest to produce a non-shedding dog with a great temperament. I believe we got an extremely healthy, well-constructed little pet here. Tucker is also adorable, smart, and affectionate, all the things we wanted in a pet. It didn't even take long for the transaction to take place...maybe a half hour. I highly recommend this breeder and his puppies. My husband and I drove almost 7 hours to pick up our adorable Teddy Bear puppy from Stephen Stoltzfoos in Ephrata. The minute I talked to him, I knew I had picked the correct breeder. I had seen Louie (Irv) online, fell in love and put in a call. We made arrangements and I have been walking on clouds every second since. The Stoltzfoos farm is immaculate and well taken care of. My puppy was extremely clean, he is really healthy and our bet at home loved his conformation, hip and knee joints, and how healthy he is. I have bonded to this little pup like no other. We are always together, and soon he will be on the motorcycle with me. He has googles and a safe pack to ride in. Now I need the weather to cooperate. I highly recommend Greenfield Puppies and especially Stephen Stoltzfoos. I cannot imagine my life without Louie and all his fuzzy goodness!
