Melvin and Paw Tales provided a wonderful experience adopting our Bernedoodle, Santa Paws. Our puppy pick up was made simple and Melvin answered all of questions. He provided thorough answers to our questions. We were sent home with a bag containing, food, leash, collar, vitamin supplements, and a soft blanket. Melvin followed up with us after we got home with Santa Paws about 8 hours later to ensure all went well and to see if we had any concerns. Recently purchased a Mini Goldendoodle from Melvin and I must say he was a pleasure to work with. Melvin was extremely responsive, forthcoming and answered all of my questions. When we visited the location, it was very clean and you could tell “Pearl” who has been renamed Sugar was well taken care of. We were even given a bag of goodies to take home to get us started (leash/collar, toys, and food), a 30-day health guarantee and the puppy came microchipped. Pearl/Sugar is even partially potty trained which is a huge plus! If I’m ever on the market again for a puppy, I would not hesitate to purchase from Paw Tale Puppies!

From the moment I spoke to Melvin on the phone about "Flower" (now Emma), the female Boston Terrier, I had a 5-star experience. I could tell that he cares very much about his puppies and where they go. Melvin directed me to a form to complete telling about myself and why I wanted to adopt a puppy. I made arrangements to pick up Emma and as soon as I met Melvin, I knew I came to the right breeder. He is friendly, open, and knowledgeable and his home is impeccably clean. Emma was very clean and perfect from ears to tail. His paperwork was very detailed, and he microchipped her on the spot at my request. He even gave her some medicine so that she would not get car sick, and she didn't. Emma is the sweetest puppy, not to mention adorable. Melvin even called me when he got off work to see how she was doing and said to contact him anytime with questions and to send him photos. Today, 9/5/2024, Emma had her first vet visit and she checked out 100% healthy and the vet commented on how clean her ears are. You will be very happy if you choose to get a puppy from Melvin; he is one of the good breeders out there.

My husband and I searched for a Bichon Frise puppy on the website and found Greenfield Puppies. When we talked to Mr. Lapp on the phone, he kindly gave us his address to see the puppy. He was very flexible with his schedule to receive us that afternoon, we drove one hour to his place, it is very clean and accommodating for the puppies. We felt in love with Sunshine, a Bichon Frise female puppy, she is so cute, energetic and lovable. She plays a lot with our puppy Shih Tzu and our two kids. I met Melvin Lapp, Mariann. They are legit dog breeder. We went drove to Dornsife,P.A.. I live in Massapequa.NY. Their place was so clean they are breeding tsi-chon, bichon frise, boston terrier. I got Mairi going 2 mos old. I saw their son holding a boston terrier w/c i thought was a toy it was a live one. They are very nice they even give us the transitional food for the puppy. Their place is clean the puppies are well taken care of.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of picking up our puppy, Farrah, from Melvin and his wonderful family. She is an amazing addition to the family! Healthy, happy, and she has so much personality. She is great around kids, other dogs, and just a joy to be around.The location we picked her up from was beautiful, clean, and you could tell how well the puppies were cared for. Melvin and his wife are both wonderful. Melvin took his time going over all of the paperwork associated with Farrah and gave us puppy food to help transition her to whatever food we chose to feed her. He made the whole process super simple and even held her for a few weeks for us to get down. He kept us appraised of her health and overall it was a wonderful experience! We all know how intimidating, difficult, and traumatizing this process can be, but this breeder was nothing short of attentive and personable; a man of his word. Hard to come by honest and humble business folks nowadays, so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, my Felix was not kept outdoors in this cold, but rather in a very modern and open concept area with his family and other friends. He is healthy, friendly, energetic, and was happy which was important for me to observe. Melvin is who I encountered and he is excellent. I can’t recommend him enough. His calm and kind demeanor was all I could’ve asked for. Offered information I wouldn’t have known to inquire about even after having pups prior to Felix.
